As part of its ongoing commitment to investing in promising talent and recognizing potential to foster a positive workplace, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) celebrated the achievements of more than 200 outstanding employees honored under the annual Qadha program for their performance during 2025.
The recognition ceremony was held at the Four Seasons Hotel, in the presence of the Group CEO, Khaled Yousef AlShamlan, senior leaders, employees, honorees and their families.
Culture of Distinction
In his speech, AlShamlan said: “We take pride that Qadha program has been successfully running over three years and has become an impactful initiative to reinforce excellence across the Bank and motivate our human capital to give their best.”
Special significance
“This gathering carries a special significance. It follows the announcement of KFH’s historic annual profits, marking another milestone for KFH in executing its strategic objectives and reinforcing its leading position,” AlShamlan added.
Meanwhile, he pointed out that KFH reported net profit of KD 632.1 million attributable to the shareholders of the Bank for the year 2025, an increase of 5.0% compared to last year. These historic profits are the highest in the Kuwaiti banking sector. Net financing income increased to KD 1.3 billion, an increase rate of 11.5%. Net operating income reached KD 1.2 billion, an increase of 10.7%.
He further noted: “These milestones are the outcome of your exceptional hard work which have had positive impact on KFH’s continuous success. They are key steps of our extended journey towards attaining our strategic objective of becoming among the top 100 global banks within the next decade.”
Earned recognition
AlShamlan emphasized that this earned recognition is a testament for the outstanding performance of KFH employees, noting that they are the main assets of KFH and the cornerstone in maintaining its leadership, and fulfilling the ambitions of its shareholders and customers, who remain the core of the Bank’s priorities.
AlShamlan concluded his remarks by encouraging employees to continue with their dedication to maintain KFH’s leadership on the local, regional and global fronts. He wished employees continued success and further achievements.
Qadha Program
Since its launch in 2022, Qadha program has served as the umbrella for employee recognition initiatives at KFH. The program has also earned the Gold Medal from the Brandon Hall Group for Best Advance in Employee Recognition Program.
Further to being the first of its kind in the Kuwaiti banking sector, Qadha program aligns with global practices in selecting distinguished employees. The process is based on selective criteria and the assessment of employees’ professional and technical attributes.
