KFH Malaysia Standardised Base Rate (SBR)

The SBR we offer on this product is based on the benchmark rate specified by Bank Negara Malaysia. The benchmark rate is currently set as the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR), which reflects the monetary policy stance as decided by the Monetary Policy Committee of Bank Negara Malaysia.

What are possible scenarios that may trigger a change in the SBR?

The SBR can increase or decrease due to changes in the benchmark rate, i.e. changes in the Overnight Policy Rate (OPR).

 

New Standardised Base Rate (SBR) Mechanics effective 1 August 2022

 

 

REVISED BENCHMARK RATE TO STANDARDISED BASE RATE (SBR) FOR KFH HOME / PROPERTY FINANCING-i AND KFH MURABAHAH CASHLINE-i

 

Dear Valued Customers,

 

In line with the recent revision of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) Guidelines on Reference Rate Framework, Kuwait Finance House (Malaysia) Berhad (KFH) is introducing a new Standardised Base Rate (SBR) mechanics.

 

From 1 August 2022, all new customers will be adopting the new Standardised Base Rate (SBR) as Benchmark Rate.

 

Existing customers who are currently serving under the Base Rate (BR) & Base Financing Rate (BFR) will continue to remain status quo.

 

The new Benchmark Rate for KFH Home/Property Financing-i and KFH Murabahah Cashline-i shall be effective FROM 1 AUGUST 2022 as follows:

 

STANDARDISED BASE RATE: 2.25% per annum

 

BASE RATE: 2.75% per annum

 

BASE FINANCING RATE: 6.64% per annum

SEMAKAN SEMULA PENANDA ARAS KEPADA KADAR ASAS STANDARD UNTUK PEMBIAYAAN RUMAH / HARTANAH-i KFH DAN KFH MURABAHAH CASHLINE-i

Selaras dengan penyemakan semula Garis Panduan Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) mengenai Rangka Kerja Kadar Rujukan,

Kuwait Finance House (Malaysia) Berhad (KFH) memperkenalkan mekanik Kadar Asas Standard yang baru.

 

Mulai 1 Ogos 2022, semua pelanggan baharu akan tertakluk kepada Penanda Aras Kadar Asas Standard yang baru.

 

Pelanggan sedia ada yang menggunakan Kadar Asas & Kadar Pembiayaan Asas akan kekal seperti sedia ada.

 

Kadar Penanda Aras baru untuk pembiayaan rumah/ hartanah-i KFH dan KFH Murabahah Cashline-i akan berkuat kuasa mulai 1 Ogos 2022 adalah seperti berikut:

 

KADAR ASAS STANDARD: 2.25% setahun

 

KADAR ASAS: 2.75% setahun

 

KADAR PEMBIAYAAN ASAS: 6.64% setahun
