Kuala Lumpur, 14 October 2009 – Kuwait Finance House (Malaysia) Berhad, is hosting its first carnival from 24 to 25 October 2009. The event aims to create awareness of the Bank’s branches nationwide and introduce its Islamic financial solutions. Branches involved are Bayan Lepas, Penang, Taman Molek, Johor Bahru, Jalan Satok, Kuching, Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur, Batu Unjur, Klang and Shah Alam, Selangor.

Mr. Ab Jabar Ab Rahman, Deputy Chief Executive Officer said, “This is the first time the Bank is organising an event of this kind simultaneously at its branches. Since the opening of the Bank we have conducted a phased roll-out of our products and services. The effort commenced with Corporate and Investment followed by Commercial and Retail Banking. The Bank has then introduced 18 retail products and services as well as launched seven branches nationwide. This carnival will play a vital role in allowing consumers to learn more about our product offerings and we expect to attract a large crowd from nearby residential districts,” he added.

From 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, the public can seek information and take advantage of special financing, deposit, wasiat and bankatakaful packages offered only during this period. Various activities have been planned for children, which includes colouring contest, clowns and balloon sculpturing. Refreshments will also be served.
