With reference to some reports in the media and the announcement issued on 24 December 2009, Kuwait Finance House (Malaysia) Berhad (KFHMB) clarifies that it is not a contractual party to the sale and purchase transaction of the East Wing of the Icon @ Tun Razak (the Transaction), neither has KFHMB any interest in the transaction.

As far as KFHMB is concerned, it maintains a positive outlook in conducting business in the country and continues to seek potential investment opportunities, in line with the Government’s objective of making Malaysia an international Islamic Financial Centre.
