Kuala Lumpur, 6 April 2018:Kuwait Finance House (Malaysia) Berhad ('KFH Malaysia' or 'the Bank') and Emrail Sdn Bhd ('Emrail') entered into an agreement in which the Bank has granted Islamic Financing Facility of an undisclosed sum to Emrail for design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of trackworks and power conductor rail system for Light Rail Transit Line 3 ('LRT3') Project from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia.
Present to witness the signing ceremony held at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur were David Power, Chief Executive Officer of KFH Malaysia and Tan Sri Dato' Hari Narayanan Govindasamy, Deputy Chairman of Emrail. Also present at the event was Tun Dato' Seri Zaki bin Tun Azmi, Chairman of Emrail, along with the Board of Directors, representatives of Emrail's shareholders including Lembaga Tabung Haji and the management from both companies.
