KUALA LUMPUR, 2 June - Kuwait Finance House Group and Kuwait Finance House (Malaysia) Berhad (KFH Malaysia), the first foreign Islamic bank in the country, are the Platinum Strategic Partner for the Fifth Annual World Islamic Banking Conference: Asia Summit (WIBC Asia 2014). This is the Group's third consecutive year of participation. Themed ‘Bridging the World of Islamic Finance: Expanding the Boundaries – Complementing Domestic Growth with International Linkages’, WIBC Asia 2014 will be held at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Singapore from 2 to 4 June 2014.
WIBC Asia 2014 brings together industry leaders to explore and capitalise on new opportunities in Asia and to foster new business partnerships with other key centres for Islamic finance, with a principal focus on forging stronger economic linkages with the Arabian Gulf.
Mr. T. Jeyaratnam, KFH Malaysia’s Head of Investment, and Mr. Azahari Abdul Kudus, its Head of Treasury, are panel speakers at this Conference. Mr. Jeyaratnam, who has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry and accounting profession, will be leading the CEOs & Industry Leaders Power Debate whilst Mr. Azahari will be sharing with the participants on Innovations in Islamic Treasury Management.
